Gordy's is having some great pop sales but nothing to overwhelming there this week. Mega is having some great items but most can be priced matched at Walmart. If you go to Festival Foods this week and use their in store coupons and the manufacturer coupons you have you can get some great deals for under a buck.

Savings in Northern Wisconsin

I like to save and am working on updating my blog to help save in Northern Wisconsin, which can be a challenge I have found for the average person. There are very few well priced stores. There is no Kroger, Save-A-lot, Cub Foods, etc in this area. The main grocery stores are Gordy's County Market, Festival Foods, Walmart, Megafoods, Kmart, and Econofoods. Since Walmart offers price matching they are at the top of the chain and if you can goto Kmart on Wednesday or Saturday (days they double coupons up to 5) you can get some deals there.

It is a great 12 degrees outside and it feels like winter again except for the missing snow. There are bits here and there but like most of the country we are not experiencing a typical winter. Thinking about the month of February and how thankful we should all be for all the gifts we have received over the past couple of months.

Here is my thought: How do you pay it forward this month...ya know...the month that no one is expecting it?

I have decided to clean out the pantry and donate to the local food shelf. Think about all those things you had bought for company over the holidays that you didn't use. Most food pantrys run out or low during the "off Season" when we all forget about them after the holidays.
